Hand made scabbard designed by Peter Johnsson and Kevin Iseli, in a style popular during the 15th C. The scabbard features a "wing" close to the top to support the knot by which the swordbelt is attached (to be strapped to the waist-belt by a buckle and a hook). A practical solution often seen in Italian 15th C art.

The scabbard features:

-- all natural vegetable tanned calfskin
-- authentic knotted integral belt construction
-- steel buckles, chapes and strap-ends
-- hand-stitched back seam
-- incised and stamped trifoil decorations
-- separate belt

This is an outstanding example of the scabbardmaker's art, thoroughly authentic, handmade of the finest materials.
